Question 126

Hi, Scott,

I had taken the Natural Golf 1-day school but found the loss of distance too much to overcome. I was familiar with you and your technique going way back to 1994 at the PGA Teaching & Coaching Summit in New Orleans (you had given an impromtu clinic at a local driving range). In any case, your video has improved my "Moe Norman technique" a great deal! I've gained distance and hit the irons much crisper than when using the so-called Natural Golf method. There is one thing about NG that I just can't understand: Why are they not teaching what you are teaching?

They are a more of a marketing company, and they don't understand my teaching. I get many responses like your. That suggests that many are using this site as a education tool.

It would seem to me that inclusion of your ideas into their existing system would be fairly easy. The NG school that I attended didn't even explain the proper folding and un-folding of the right arm - an integral part of the single axis system!!! If people aren't learning the right arm piston movement, how can they succeed?? Sorry, just thinking out loud I guess.

Thanks again for the help, Scott.
John Mule, New Orleans, La.

I don't know whether they can succeed. I do know they keep me in business.
