Question 163

While visiting the practice tee at the 2000 Masters, I noticed that the majority of pros where hitting a short, rather high pitch shot that seem to brake after it hit the greens. I have your short game video but there is no mention of this effect that I recall seeing or hearing. Is it possible to do this with your way of striking the ball?

Yes you can, but it requires a glancing blow. However, you can deliver a glancing blow with straight-line motion and an open club face.
