![]() Question 30 Dear Scott, I can't afford the price of your IMA golf clubs. Is there any way that I can make a set of clubs that will come close to your specifications. If not, is there a commercial set of clubs that you would recommend for me to learn on.
Thank you, Dear Gerald, This is a question that gets asked quite often. The reason I became a golf club manufacturer was because there are no clubs that are designed correctly for straight line motion. The head design is superior. Our methods of shaft fitting, and weighting in the head and grip are not known to other manufacturers. As a result we our irons are the best available. Scigolf costs are at least 40 % lower than prices for less accurate clubs from other golf companies. Until you can order a set of irons from Scigolf my suggestion is you locate a set of used irons with the classic blade design. You may want to regrip them. McGregor MTs are a good example. The old classic blades are more evenly weight distributed and have it all over the so called "high tech" clubs being touted today. But, they do fall short of our design features.
Best wishes,
