Question 40

Hey Scott,

How far do REALLY drive your tee shots with your swing technique? Can you get enough distance to play from the blues?

How can I get info on your schools?

Thanks,
Bill

Dear Bill,

My typical driving distance is related to my club head speed which is 115 mph. When you use a factor of 2.25 for air carry and 2.50 for air carry and roll you will see that the distance is more than adequate to play from THE blues. 2.25 times 115 mph is equal to 258 yds of air carry and 115 mph times 2.5 yds per mile per hour is equal to 287 yds carry and roll.

Keep in mind that this is after my car accident where I damaged my lower back, the nerve endings to my hands, and ended up with a left shoulder this basically stuck in its socket. I do believe my distance is very reasonable.
