 Question 464 Where should you place your feet when putting?
Would you please advise the feet placement when putting. We have a golfer who places one foot in front of the other foot and putts from the side while facing the hole....is this action illegal?
You can stand as close to the ball as you like as long as you don’t straddle the line. When I was 10 years old I putted side saddle and won my first state tournament. I was deadly. The best way to stand is to be comfortable and have the ball position in a specific location all the time.
