Question 471

How much different is your teaching from Todd Graves'?

Al:

How much different is your teaching from that of Todd Graves?

I haven’t seen any of Todd's recent stuff so I can only go by what his last swing looked like.  His left hand grip is different and the release action through impact is considerably different.   If you have some of Todd’s information I would be glad to review it for you.

Can your DVD be viewed as a left hander?

The nice thing about being a left handed is that you can mirror the movements on the screen.   That’s a huge advantage, especially if you are a visual and kinematic learner.   Most lefties that I know have learned to translate right to left and left for right, and for the most part in my videos I use top and bottom hand, and leading and trailing hand.  So it shouldn’t be difficult for you at all.
