![]() Question 530 Same Lie Angle for All Irons?From David: What are your thoughts on having the same lie angle for all irons? I have read that Moe Norman did this. Do you know what his lie angle was? I think you should have the same line angle relative to each other, for example my lie angle is 3° up-right. But to have each clubhead at 65° would be folly, by the time you got to lower irons you would have the toe sticking way up in the air even if it's single axis. With the wedges like the 53° or the 60° sand wedge I carry, I like to have them a little bit flatter simply because I’m going to be hitting more specialty shots like lob shots, blast shots and by having the lie flatter I can hit those shots a bit easier.
