Golf Kata
Scott is using the approach martial arts instructors use. Martial arts instructors teach the Kata which is a series of short and slow motions that are precise because they are performed slowly. These motion building exercises are easy for the students to learn. From the Kata they learn the full motion at speed.
Scott uses the Golf Kata. He teaches the Golf Kata by starting slowly at the beginning of the swing and working up to a full swing in small steps. Always slow and precise motions, which you’ll find easy to learn.
Many people cannot learn from video instruction because they can’t see what they are doing. How many times have we practiced the wrong thing! The Golf Kata is done watching your hands to make sure you are getting into the correct position at every step of the way. Golf Chi
Scott next teaches you the Golf Chi, again from martial arts where the Chi is a slow motion exercise done with intense concentration. Scott explains where the club head speed comes from and teaches you exercises that will increase your club head speed. Exercises you can do at home.
On The Course
Then we go out to the course and put to practice what we learned in the TV studio. Scott teaches you how the motion building exercises are used to put the golf swing together. He shows how to achieve accuracy – a unique method of his using two golf balls. He shows how to dial in the correct distance. He shows how to work the ball and dial in a fade or a draw.
Scott booms a couple of drives well over the 250 yard marker using range balls to show how your full swing at speed should look. And will look after 30 days of following Scott’s exercises. Exercises you can do indoors or out.
