They react less to bad results or poor swings than others.

They will take more risks to give opportunities to score. They are not
overly dominant, taking too much risk. They will seldom get defensive and
take too little risk.
The Champions are more Tough-Minded than the average player.
They see adversity and bad bounces as challenges to be overcome. They are
more selfish on the golf course.
The Champions have above average Self-Confidence.
This enables them to survive the natural ups and downs of a Tour player's
career and development. It also helps them avoid deep slumps.
The Champions are more Self-Sufficient than the average player.
They prefer to make their own decisions on the golf course. They will
listen to a caddy, but the final decision is theirs.
The Champions play with more below average levels of Tension.
The Champions have learned to maintain their level of tension so that they
can concentrate and focus without inhibiting their physical skills, their
touch and feel. Most golfers are over aroused for competition.
