Ask the "Professor", Jack Kuykendall

Jack Kuykendall is the golf-passionate scientist who discovered the single axis method to play golf. He is the person who brought Moe Norman to national recognition as the World's Greatest Ball Striker. Moe validates Jack Kuykendall's great golf discoveries.

Jack Kuykendall Jack's discoveries have been featured in media around the world. In December 1995, Golf Digest devoted over 30 pages to Moe and Jack. In January 1996 Golf Magazine named Jack as one of the Top 100 Teachers in America. Jack is the second scientist, and only the third non-PGA member to receive this honor.

Do you hit "up" on a driver?
Hi Bob -

The single worse thing an instructor can do is offer a quick fix tip. They always fail. The brain does not work on tips.

There are way too many variable to make a general statement (clubhead speed and loft of the driver are just two). What you want is Center-of-gravity contact on the clubface that produces the correct spin and correct launch angle for your clubhead speed. You need to go to a center that test those paramenters with current launch/ball speed machines.
