Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex, Muscles, Hormones and GOLF
- After 40.

As I approach the age of 60 and reflect back on the past 20 years, I found I have made the most important discovery of all - How to enjoy life. The key ingredients are the title of a new book that will be released next year -

Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex, Muscles, Hormones and GOLF - After 40.

As all true golfers know, to hit a golf ball consistently where you want it to go, requires complete control of your mind and body. When you train your mind and body for the most difficult activity, it is easy to move those skills over to other activities in your life. Many great athletes have a lot of difficulty in golf. The reason is that golf is by far the most demanding sport for the percentage of error when the ball meets the hitting implement.

All other sports pale in comparison to the precision needed.

In most other sports, the more excited you get, the more adrenaline you get flowing, the better you play. Golf is just the opposite. You must have exact control over hormone levels -- too little or too much and performance decreases. You have to learn to dial in just the right amount.

Once you pass 40, many hormone levels decrease on a yearly basis. When this happens, performance in areas that the hormones affect decease.

The key ingredient of all my writings is the use of scientific theory. Scientific observation is what separates reality from perceptions. When using science, the statements you make must be able to be observed by everyone. If someone can show a different observation, the statements must be modified or abandoned. Aristotle did not believe in scientific theory. He only believed in thinking about things. This lead to almost every thing he said being false. An example is Aristole's view of the universe. He believed the earth was the center of the universe and that every thing else revolved around the earth in musical spheres. Then the authority figures of that time, the church, liked the idea and made it fact. It took almost 2,000 years for science to overcome this incorrect perception.

I will be writing a summary of the chapters over the next few weeks.
