The Power Swing
 |
|
The Power Swing was originally designed for baseball with the plastic fins on the end of the bat. The faster the swing, the greater the air resistance. The four plastic fins provide resistance throughout the entire swing and attain maximum effect when the velocity is greatest.
The Power Swing was a success for baseball and since the golf swing is
similar, it was adapted for golf. The strong resistance benefits the golfer by increasing muscle strength and by improving rotation.
|
The most apparent improvement, as seen in high speed photography, is a stronger release. The harder you swing the greater the resistance, with consistent use you will develop faster Type IIx fast twist muscles.
|
Golf professionals have found that Power Swing helps cure other common
swing faults their students have - lifting the club, coming over the top
and casting.
Daily use for several months will add 10 to 30 yards and develop a more
consistent swing.
